Yankees' Gleyber Torres puts spin on rough spring after being cut

TAMPA -- Gleyber Torres had a few minutes of down time Tuesday between his morning work and his start at second base in the Yankees' spring game against the Detroit Tigers.

Relaxing at his locker, the 21-year-old Venezuelan popped up from his chair when he heard an upbeat song on the clubhouse stereo to show off his dancing skills.

Sitting nearby, utility infielder Ronald Torreyes smiled and said, "He can dance! He's Latino!"

A few minutes later, Torres sang a few lines to tune as he walked out of the clubhouse for a short meeting in the manager's office.
