Yankees get the Didi Gregorius news they need -- for now

NEW YORK -- The Yankees haven't been hearing what they want from the doctor whenever right fielder Aaron Judge sees him about his fractured wrist.

They got better news on shortstop Didi Gregorius and his bruised heel on Monday.

Gregorius told reporters his visit with the Yankees' team physician, Dr. Christopher Ahmad, went well.

It came during a 6-2 loss to the White Sox at Yankee Stadium.

"Everything is progressing the way it's supposed to be," he said at his locker in the clubhouse.
