That feels weird to say, but that’s what happens when you cap a sluggish performance — in a game you have no business winning — with a walk-off win in extra innings.
In one of the true feel good moments of the season, Brett Gardner, who’s struggled all year, singled home the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the 11th.
