Yankees Game 84: Silent offense in Chicago

New York Yankees 0 – Chicago White Sox 5

After putting up 20 hits, the Yankees looked to support Michael Pineda in the series finale.

Following a scoreless first inning between Michael Pineda and Miguel Gonzalez, a frequent problem for Pineda reared its ugly head in the second inning. Pineda managed to retire the first two batters in the second inning but the third out proved to be a problem. Brett Lawrie hit a single before a passed ball moved him to second and a walk of Dioner Navarro put two on.
