Series win duties fall to Nathan Eovaldi (2-2, 4.78 ERA) as he takes on former Yankee Ian Kennedy (4-2, 2.13 ERA) in the finale. Eovaldi is coming off an impressive eight inning, two run outing against the Red Sox. It was a great start in spite of the loss, as his fastball reached 100 multiple times and he seemed to finally find his stride. In his only career start against KC, last May, his offense gave him an 11-0 lead in the first two innings. He went seven innings and gave up one earned run in the win.
