Ivan Nova (5-4, 3.57 ERA) opens up the four game set against Josh Tomlin (0-1, 2.84 ERA) and the Indians. Nova took a comebacker off his pitching hand his last time out against Toronto, but stayed in the game and won’t miss a start. He threw a season high seven innings giving up three runs on five hits and picking up the win. He hasn’t faced Cleveland since June 10, 2011, when he gave up two runs through seven in the win.
This will be Tomlin’s second start of the season after missing three months recovering from shoulder surgery.
