Yankees officials left Tuesday’s meeting with Gerrit Cole feeling a good rapport between the sides and that the team had presented what New York and the organization could offer to the ace righty.

No financial terms were discussed because there is an understanding that if the Yankees are this interested in a player that they are not afraid to go to the top of the market.
