FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Yankees-Red Sox rivalry hasn't been quite the same over the past five years. Will David Price be the one to breathe life back into what has become a boring New York-Boston series?
Price made his unofficial debut in the rivalry Tuesday night, holding the Yankees to one run over four innings, striking out six. The Yankees got the last laugh, dealing the Red Sox a 6-3 loss in front of 9,914 at Jet Blue Park.
"Weird seeing him in Manny's old jersey," Alex Rodriguez said, referring to Price's No. 24 uniform that once belonged to Manny Ramirez.
