Yankees' Didi Gregorius apparently hurt, pulled from game

NEW YORK -- The Yankees pulled shortstop Didi Gregorius with an apparent injury during a game against the Blue Jays at Yankee Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Manager Aaron Boone lifted Gregorius before the start of the third inning.

The Yankees haven't said why Gregorius was taken out.

In the first inning, Gregorius collided with Toronto first baseman Kendrys Morales. Gregorius was racing to beat out a groundball single to second base.

Gregorius was safe, but second baseman Devon Travis' throw was short and right of the bag.
