Yankees crush six total homers to defeat both Phillies and Orioles

In their final twin-bill Sunday of spring training, the Yankees defeated the Phillies 7-3, while also downing the Orioles by a score of 5-3. The team traveled for both games and didn’t send their A-squad for either matchup, but still managed to prevail on both fronts.

  1. Jonathan Loaisiga had his best start of the spring. That’s not saying much, considering the talented young right-hander had yielded 10 runs through nine innings thus far in camp, but it was a small step in the right direction nonetheless.
