Yankees Continue To Roll With Timely Hitting In 5-0 Win

The Yankees winning percentage for the Spring Training season soared to .750 today with a win over the Phillies by a score of 5-0.

The winning combination of timely hitting and reliable pitching continues to dominate each game and today was no different.

Chase Headley, who is hitting only .200 for the spring, greeted Phillies starter and former Red Sox, Clay Buchholtz, in the very first inning with a home run, scoring himself and two Yankees on base. Aaron Judge added another blast in the sixth inning.

Timely Hitting Setting The Yankees Pace

Of significance, though, is that all four of these runs scored with two outs.
