BALTIMORE — Another day, another postponement. The finale of the Yankees’ four-game weekend series with the Baltimore Orioles was postponed Sunday afternoon.
The decision was made more than two hours before the scheduled 1:05 p.m. start, with rain being forecast. This is the Yankees’ seventh postponement this season, along with a suspended game, and Sunday’s game is scheduled be made up on Saturday, Aug. 25 as part of a day-night doubleheader. Those games will start at 1:05 p.m. and 7:05 p.m.
The opener for this four-game series also was postponed on Thursday. That will be made up as part of a doubleheader on July 9 starting at 4:05 p.
