Yankees complete sweep of Orioles, gain more ground in AL East

It’s almost September, and two of the Yankees’ hottest bats are Luke Voit and Miguel Andujar, just as we all predicted. Voit and Andujar each recorded three hits and two RBI to lead the Yanks to a 5-3 win over the Orioles, completing a four-game sweep and pulling the Bombers within six games of the AL East lead. Luis Severino earned his league-leading 17th win of the season in an improved effort, and David Robertson nailed down his fourth save of the year.

The Bombers struck first in the top of the second, courtesy of new Yankee legend Voit, who stroked a two-run homer to right center to give New York a 2-0 lead.
