NEW YORK -- The Yankees' starting rotation has taken yet another hit.
Veteran lefty CC Sabathia will head to the disabled list with right knee inflammation. The 38-year-old didn't complain of pain after throwing six scoreless innings in a win over the Rangers at Yankee Stadium on Sunday.
Sabathia landed awkwardly on the knee while trying to make a play on a comebacker but seemed fine during the game.
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said the team was in the process of making roster moves before Monday's game against the Mets at Yankee Stadium.
