CC Sabathia won’t have to think too hard about which hat to wear if he gets a Hall of Fame call.
He would go in as a Yankee.
“Being here now for 11 years and winning the World Series, I think it’ll be a Yankee hat,” Sabathia said on NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers.
The 39-year-old southpaw, who plans to retire after this season, has reached six All-Star games, won a World Series and a Cy Young award back in 2007. He spent the first eight years of his career with the Indians, part of one season with the Brewers and the rest in New York with the Yankees.
