Yankees catch break on hot-hitting Brian McCann

The news on Brian McCann’s right foot could have been a lot worse. The Yankees have to feel better about their catcher’s problem not being serious enough to warrant a stint on the disabled list.

However, it was serious enough to force McCann from Wednesday’s game in Seattle 10 days after the problem surfaced, when he left a game against the Rangers.
