The Yankees will try another first baseman Wednesday when Ji-Man Choi, just up from Triple-A debuts for the club in a 1:05 p.m., game at Yankee Stadium against the Toronto Blue Jays.
This will be the 10th first baseman that the Yanks have used this season and seventh to start a game.
Choi is replacing Chris Carter, who was designated for assignment after going 0-for-2 with a walk in the Yankees' 4-1 loss to the Blue Jays on Tuesday.
Besides Choi playing, the Yankees' lineup also will include rookie Tyler Wade.
