ANAHEIM -- The Yankees made it to the second week of June as the American League East leaders with a lot of persevering.
We all know rookie right fielder Aaron Judge has been unreal, outfielder Aaron Hicks and shortstop Didi Gregorius have been great, DH Matt Holliday has been very good and the starting pitching (except for Masahiro Tanaka) has been way better than expected.
All the while though, this surprising run has included the Yankees having to play without catcher Gary Sanchez and Gregorius for a month.
