In his final start in Yankee Stadium, CC Sabthia took the mound against Dillion Peters. After scoring eight runs in Tuesday night’s game, the Yankees’ only offense on Wednesday was provided by Aaron Judge. The Bombers just couldn’t crack the Angels’ pitching as they dropped game two of the series by a final score of 3-2.
Sabathia got himself into some trouble in the third. He struck out the first batter he faced in the inning, but then a single and a walk to the next two batters led to an Albert Pujols RBI single, putting the Angels on the board first.
