New York Yankees‘ pitchers and catchers reported today to the team’s spring training complex, officially kickstarting the 2021 season. There are high hopes involving the organization, after last year’s elimination against a divisional foe deep in the playoffs.
But we are in a new year, full of hopes. The New York Yankees announced today that they have invited 32 players to 2021 Major League spring training. That takes the number of players scheduled to report to spring training is 72, per a press release.
Of the invitees’ group, 20 received minor league contracts for the 2021 season.
