The Yankees have been involved in trade rumors surrounding Andrew Miller, but it was another left-handed relief pitcher that the team traded on Wednesday night.
Sources say the #Tigers will acquire left-handed reliever Justin Wilson for a pair of prospects.
According to Jennifer Hammond of Fox Sports 2 Detroit, the Yankees have agreed to trade relief pitcher Justin Wilson to the Detroit Tigers in exchange for a pair of minor league prospects. After spending his first three big league seasons with the Pittsburgh Pirates, Wilson was traded to the Yankees in November of 2014 in exchange for catcher Francisco Cervelli.
