Meet the Yankees’ newest arm: Ryan Dull.
The right-hander was acquired off waivers from the Giants, the team announced Wednesday. He was added to the 40-man roster, resulting in Brady Lail being designated for assignment to make room.
Dull comes to the Bronx after only a week in San Francisco after having been claimed from the Athletics. The 29-year-old has spent the majority of the past two seasons in the minors and sports a 12.00 ERA in nine innings of big-league work this season with eight strikeouts to his credit.
He becomes the latest pitching acquisition by the Yankees, who have moved on from Lail and Joe Mantiply after single-game viewings.
