Yankees activate Brandon Drury from DL, option him to Triple-A

The New York Yankees announced they have activated INF Brandon Drury from the 10-day disabled list, and optioned him to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Today, the Yankees returned INF/OF Brandon Drury from his rehab assignment, reinstated him from the 10-day disabled list and optioned him to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Drury’s 20-day rehab assignment recently expired, but he was still feeling symptomatic; Drury was placed on the disabled list on April 7th with severe migraines and blurred vision.

The Yankees aren’t able to place Drury consecutively on the disabled list for the same injury which was why he was optioned to Scranton.
