NEW YORK -- Yankees' star slugger Aaron Judge underwent surgery on his shoulder on Monday in Los Angeles, but it's not as dire as it sounds.

In fact, it's probably not much to worry about at all.

The team announced the AL Rookie of the Year underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left, non-throwing shoulder with Dodgers' team doctor Neal ElAttrache on Monday to remove loose bodies and clean up cartilage. It's about as routine as baseball surgeries come, and his rehab will be completed before the start of spring training.
