Yankees rookie slugger Aaron Judge will get a chance to showcase his talent on the national stage, after receiving an invitation to the 2017 Home Run Derby.
Judge leads the majors with 23 home runs this season.
The Home Run Derby will be at Marlins Park in Miami on July 10, the day before the 2017 All-Star Game.
Judge will most likely have a spot waiting for him in the starting lineup for the American League in the Midsummer Classic.
In the latest round of voting released Tuesday, Judge leads the American League in All-Star balloting and is second in the majors to Washington Nationals right fielder Bryce Harper.
