After two stressful games in this series, the Yankees took the lead early today and never looked back. CC Sabathia put together another solid outing, and the offense hit three home runs behind him to wrap up the series with a win.
The game wasn’t all good, though. Gleyber Torres exited the game in the fourth after he struck out swinging. In between pitches, he was seen stretching out his right hip. Torres was sent for an MRI following the game. The results just came back and he will be placed on the disabled list with a hip strain.
