Yankees 2, Athletics 5: More of the same as Yankees drop another to Oakland

The story of this game is a lot like those of many recent Yankees' games. The offense picks up a run early. The Yankee starting pitcher, today it was Nathan Eovaldi, can't hold off the other team forever, and the Yankees lose the lead. The Yankees' offense can't get going again and they lose. For the second straight day, the Athletics were the beneficiary of that script, as they beat the Yankees 5-2.

Things actually started pretty well for the Yankees. In the second inning Didi Gregorius hit a solo home run, giving them an early 1-0 lead.
