Back home and back winning — that’s just what the doctor ordered. The Bombers took to Yankee Stadium, and they made a little history in the process. Tough pitching and a record breaking home run resulted in the Yankees topping the Angels by a score of 2 - 1.
The Yankees got on the board in the second inning, and of course Gleyber Torres was involved. With the bases loaded and two outs, he beat out an infield single to third to drive in a run. While the Angels struggled to field the ball, Aaron Hicks broke for home.
