When the 2016 season began, absolutely no one expected Chris Parmelee and Anthony Swarzak to affect the outcome of any games. Both were far down on the depth chart and unlikely to make an appearance in the big leagues this year, even though they had previous experience in The Show (particularly with the Twins). To their credit, they played well in Triple-A Scranton, and when opportunity presented itself, they were ready.
