TAMPA -- The Yankees have been waiting it seems like forever for right-hander Michael Pineda to pitch like an ace.
Everyone always knew the 6-foot-7, 260-pounder Dominican giant had it in him.
His stuff is that good.
There are a lot of fascinating things going on these days with the Yankees, who were 10-6 losers to the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday but still have the second-best record in the Grapefruit League at 13-5.
This may finally be the year Pineda stops being a tease and gets consistent.
Pineda never was better Wednesday night.
