NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — One of the baby Bombers may not be back for quite some time.
According to WFAN’s Sweeny Murti, Aaron Judge is likely out for the rest of the season after suffering an oblique strain during the Yankees’ 3-0 win over the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday night.
The 24-year-old rookie outfielder fouled off a pitch in the bottom of the fourth inning and was seen wincing. He was attended to by the Yankees’ training staff, but stayed in the game. However, he did not return to the field for the start of the next half inning.
