Will lost investor cost Derek Jeter ownership? | Latest on Miami Marlins sale

If Derek Jeter is going to become an owner of the Miami Marlins, it's going to take a big finish in the bidding war.

While reports and news have been coming out for months about Jeter's interest and tag team with Jeb Bush, nothing is sure to happen. In fact, the bidding is down to two parties: Jeter/Bush and a second led by Tagg Romney.

MLB commissioner Rob Manfred gave an update on the state of the bidding war, per the New York Post.

"There are two bidders, at least, for the franchise," Manfred said.
