NEW YORK -- Yankees manager Aaron Boone was worried Friday night watching catcher Gary Sanchez on his knees and hunched over in obvious pain as the Baltimore Orioles were mounting their game-winning rally in the 14th inning.
Everyone on the Yankees was relieved that his turned out to be nothing serious.
After seeing a doctor, Sanchez was told he just had a cramp, although it lingered long enough to keep him out of Saturday's win and then Sunday's 12-inning loss, too, although the second game just as a precaution.
":I'm feeling better every day," Sanchez said Sunday morning.
