On Tuesday night at 6pm ET, the National Baseball Hall of Fame will reveal if anyone from the 2021 ballot will be inducted later this summer. Due to the pandemic, any honored players will be enshrined alongside the 2020 inductees (a class highlighted by Derek Jeter).
There are several former Yankees on the ballot, including Roger Clemens, Andy Pettitte, Gary Sheffield, Bobby Abreu, and Andruw Jones. Of that group, Clemens has the closest chance at induction, given that he received 61 percent of the vote in 2021 — almost identical to his fellow controversial legend, Barry Bonds.
