As challenging as it is to play in the major leagues, Homer Bush might have found a pursuit that rivals it in difficulty, at least for him - writing and publishing a book.
Bush, the affable former part-time infielder who won a World Series ring with the Yankees in that storied 1998 season and was part of two high-profile trades in his career, is working on a book called "Hitting Low in the Zone: A New Baseball Paradigm."

"It's based on baseball data, mechanics, my experiences, my stories, for youth, high school readers," Bush says.
