What went wrong with Yankees' Chance Adams' bad spring?

TAMPA -- The Yankees aren't freaking out over Chance Adams' terrible big-league spring training results.

Adams, one of the team's best pitching prospects, should become "that top option we think he's going to be. No concern on our part," minor-league pitching co-coordinator Danny Borrell said at the team's player development complex Monday.

The 23-year-old righty made three appearances before getting shipped back to minor-league camp, surrendering six earned runs over 4 2/3 innings for a 11.57 ERA. He struck out one, walked three and eight hits, including two home runs in his final outing against the Orioles.
