Free agent third baseman Todd Frazier waited and waited for the Yankees to come off their months-long stance of wanting him back only on a one-year contract.
We know for sure that the chirpy Toms River product had a blast in his three months with the Yankees. Traded from the Chicago White Sox to the Yankees last July, Frazier loved playing close to home and loved being on a club loaded with young talent that just missed getting to the World Series.

With football season now over and spring training right away the corner, Frazier finally gave up on the returning to the Yankees on Monday night when he accepted a two-year, $17-million offer from the crosstown rival Mets.
