Here’s a look at the three players the Yankees acquired from the Rangers in exchange for Carlos Beltran:
RHP Dillon Tate
The fourth pick in the 2015 draft was a reliever in his first two years at UC Santa Barbara and is in his second year as a starting pitcher. Mechanical problems and a hamstring injury earlier this year are considered the reasons the right-hander had a 3-3 record and 5.12 ERA in 17 games (16 starts) for Single-A Hickory as well as velocity hovering in the low 90s. His second best pitch is a change-up.
