What Giancarlo Stanton said about boos should thrill Yankees

NEW YORK -- Forget sugarcoating. Giancarlo Stanton poured so much salt on his wound he should get his blood pressure checked.

"Awful" was one word he used.

"A performance like that should be booed," he added.

Stanton was talking about his career-high five-strikeout debut after his first time playing at Yankee Stadium in pinstripes Tuesday.
