Thanks mostly to a nine-game winning streak, the Yankees’ season on the whole has been pretty good so far. However, this post is not to look at the good or bad of the year up to this point. It’s to look at the weird stuff. Considering we’re only a month in, there’s actually been a decent amount of weird.
After an Opening Day win, the Yankees clung on to a one-run lead in the second game. Tyler Wade came to the plate with two outs and the bases loaded in the sixth inning. Wade then doubled, scoring two runs, and making it 4-1.
