ALLENTOWN, Pa. -- Gary Sanchez might not need a full rehab assignment to prove he's healthy.
After all, the Yankees catcher homered on the first pitch he saw.
Sanchez blasted a home run to right-center field in the first inning of Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre's game against the Lehigh Valley Ironpigs at Coca Cola Park on Tuesday.
Sanchez's solo bomb just kept carrying as winds whipped high above the field. The next inning, light-hitting first baseman Cito Culver homered to the same spot, bringing in three runs to give Scranton a 4-0 lead.
