HOUSTON -- Houston Astros fans partied hard after their World Series-bound ballclub took out the Yankees on Saturday night in Game 7 of the American League Championship Series.
Two hours after the final out of a 4-0 Astros win at Minute Maid Park, downtown Houston was hopping with packed bars and cars going up and down streets with horns honking.
This loss was tough to swallow for the Yankees even though they had been underdogs in this series and pretty much all season due to their youth.
Losing Game 7 was crushing to players because the Yankees returned to Houston on Thursday having won three in a row at Yankee Stadium to take a 3-games-to-2 lead in this best-of-seven series.
