TAMPA (CBSNewYork) — This raccoon definitely wanted a good view of the New York Yankees at their Spring Training home.
Chad Jennings of The Journal News captured a strange scene at Steinbrenner Field in Tampa where a raccoon climbed to the top of the protective netting behind home plate.
Using an aerial lift, a stadium worker got face-to-face with the raccoon, using a stick to continually poke at the animal.
After a long battle, the raccoon got knocked to the ground, but was okay.
