Two Yankees pitching prospects get obliterated in spring training

LAKELAND, Fla. — Four runs in the first inning off Michael Fulmer was the end of the positives for the Yankees in their 10-4 loss to the Tigers at Publix Field on Wednesday. Four innings later a heavy rain stopped the game. For a strange reason it was restarted, but stopped again after 7 ¹/u2082 innings.

Chance Adams and Domingo Acevedo were the longest of long shots to make the Yankees team out of spring training. Getting spanked by the Tigers didn’t help those slim chances.

Adams started and gave up five runs and recorded one out.
