NEW YORK — After a long stretch of swinging a cold bat, Didi Gregorius finally showed some signs of turing the page. In New York’s 3-0 win over the Nationals at Yankee Stadium, the Shortstop hit two solo home runs to lead the offensive charge.
Gregorius, who had just hit one homer since April 27, swatted two tonight off of Tanner Roark as he looks to regain his April form that won him AL Player of the Month.
As for the pitching, CC Sabathia pitched a second consecutive good start, going 5 and 2/3 innings, giving up just four hits and no runs.
