The Twins aren’t prepared to reveal how they plan to slay the so-called Yankees dragon.
“No, we’re going to wait until the very last minute to talk about what any of our players are going to be doing,” manager Rocco Baldelli told reporters when asked who will take the mound against the Yankees on Friday in The Bronx for Game 1 of the ALDS.
It’s likely between Jake Odorizzi and Jose Berrios, who were far-and-away Minnesota’s two best starters this season.
What’s less certain is what the infield will look like. Baldelli said versatile rookie Luis Arraez is doing “significantly better” since suffering a Grade 1 sprain of his right ankle in an infield collision Saturday.
