Troy Tulowitzki suffers setback on verge of Yankees return

Troy Tulowitzki was removed from a minor league rehab game with Single-A Tampa on Wednesday when he felt tightness in the left calf after going 1-for-1 and playing short.

It is the same calf that Tulowitzki strained earlier in the season and landed on the IL with. Miguel Andujar was the DH for Tampa on Wednesday — going 1-for-4 with a pair of RBIs — and there is a chance the third baseman will be activated this weekend.

Tulowitzki was also a possibility to be in The Bronx until the shortstop came out of Wednesday’s game.
