Good, let Trevor Bauer go to the Mets, Yankees fans.
Now that the Wilpons are pretty much all but officially gone (they still own 5% of the Mets, but we’re sure they have zero power to make any decisions), fans in Queens have a new lease on life with Steve Cohen taking over as the principal owner.
He said during his introductory press conference on Tuesday that he doesn’t want to compete with the New York Yankees and instead wants the Mets to create their own excitement, and fans in the Bronx couldn’t agree more.
