Well, at least the Yankees look back on track. Yesterday’s series finale with the Astros ended in frustrating fashion, but the Bombers still won the three-game set and climbed back above .500. They’ve stabilized, they’ll hopefully get healthier over the coming weeks, and stay on an upward trajectory back to the top of the AL East.
We’ve got another interesting series coming up, as the Yankees host the 2019 champion Nationals. The rotations didn’t line up to give us a Gerrit Cole vs. Max Scherzer matchup this weekend, but we do have an intriguing contest tonight between Jameson Taillon and Patrick Corbin.
