ARLINGTON, Tex. – David Price appears to be headed back to the American League East, but he won’t be joining the Yankees – he’ll be trying to beat them.
According to multiple reports, the Blue Jays have agreed to a deal with the Tigers that will send the former Cy Young winner in Toronto.
Lefthander Daniel Norris is reportedly the centerpiece of the package, which will likely include several prospects.

The Yankees were one of the teams in on the Price sweepstakes, but Brian Cashman’s refusal to include any of his top four prospects – Luis Severino, Aaron Judge, Greg Bird and Jorge Mateo – left them on the outside looking in.
